INTRODUCTION
Rules
- First and foremost, please read the BlissScape rules. We work hard to keep this server a safe, fair, and inclusive environment for everyone, and failing to comply may result in your account/IP being muted or banned.
- The log in limit on this server is 3 accounts per person at a time; players commonly run alt accounts to make money on the side or make them do undesirable jobs.
- In the friends chat, we are only allowed to speak English. This rule is only in place for moderating purposes. However, players from all over the world can help you out outside the friends chat if you don’t speak English very well!
Microtransactions (MTX)
- BlissScape has microtransactions (MTX) in the shop section of the website:
- Rank boxes: The in-game ranks give players perks such as exclusive commands and access to “donator zones”. You have a 5 minute preview of every donator zone if you wish to check them out first (;;dz, ;;sdz, ;;cz). Click the pictures in the shop to see the specific perks of each rank.
- Mystery boxes: BlissScape has two types of mystery boxes. You can see what’s inside the server’s boxes by typing “;;drops mystery box” and “;;drops super mystery box” in-game. You can trade in mystery box items for Collector points (CP) at The Collector, north of the Edgeville bank (;;vs), and buy rewards from her. Some items are more valuable than their “CP value” because they have stats or people like them cosmetically! Click here for a list of collection point values.
- Subscription: Subscriber tiers are monthly subscriptions to show your support for the server, as well as getting the occasional behind the scenes look at BlissScape’s future updates through exclusive channels on Discord. At tier 3, you even get access to a separate “test server” where you can do things like spawn items, instakill any NPC, and just about everything else fun you can think of with powers like that.
- Bliss Points: Bliss Points are an in-game physical currency that can be redeemed to your account to purchase any other item or service in the shop on the website. They are a very popular for giving players the ability to essentially “buy gold” with real life money, as they are almost always in incredibly high demand.
- Website purchases are claimed from the snowman at “;;dd”. To withdraw Bliss points from your forum account, you have to go through the specific “Withdraw Bliss points” chat option.
- Bliss points and Rank Boxes are tradeable to ironmen, other items are not.
Trading
- BlissScape has an auction house that is fully explained by typing “;;ah” in-game. This function is meant to be used for expensive or large quantities of useful items; auctioning “junk” is considered spam.
- A more commonly used way to buy and sell items is Player Owned Shops (;;pos) where you can add items to your store for the price you want for them, make offers for items you want to buy, and shop other players’ stores. Keep in mind that the price guide is just a guideline, supply/demand may spike/drop prices quickly at any time.
Technical
- We strongly recommend registering on the BlissScape website, not only for its features (name and password changes, easier voting and shopping) but for the sake of the security of your account, as you will be using your email address, which makes it infinitely easier to recover your account if you ever happen to lose your password.
- BlissScape skill experience goes at a base rate of 76 times the Runescape 2 rates, this rate halves every time you prestige. Prestiges come into play when you hit 200m xp in a skill; you may then reset the skill to level 1 for prestige points which you can turn in for rewards at the Prestige Master (NPC at ;;home). Prestiging is an important part of the game and is required several times for the completionist cape, and many times for comp (t).
- There are some additional game settings when typing “;;settings” you might want to check out, including options to turn off a lot of chat messages you may find unnecessary, and the ability to make the attack option left-click for all NPCs.
- The server restarts every day at 10AM server time (EST) to keep it running smoothly; this only takes a few seconds and there will be reminders in the chat 30 minutes and 10 minutes before the restart, including a count down on your screen for those last 10 minutes.
